Here is one of the four new books I got a couple of weeks ago, and have recently finished. This book is really cool, and I highly recommend it if you want to become more “Weather-wise” while afield. Eric Sloan does an amazing job with his descriptions and drawings, putting things in laymen terms to be more easily understood. Some of my recent posts were derived from this book.
Not a very long or big book to go through, but well worth it. This will be referenced for years to come I believe. A bit of folklore is thrown in here that was used over time, and is still being used today.
